Obituary for Dana Crouse

Dana Crouse
Dana Yvette Crouse, aged 51, passed away Monday June 12, 2017 in her home in Milwaukie, Oregon. She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Crouse, son, Nate Crouse and fiancé, Richard Harvey. She was met in Heaven with open arms by her father, Gary Petro and beloved dog, Roscoe.
Dana loved to love people and she tended to fill the cup of everyone she’d ever met. Her contagious smile gave everyone the strength that they would have needed to get through their day. Her sense of humor and always timely wit radiated into Dana’s every conversation. She was always the first to give the benefit of the doubt but the last to end an argument.
Dana could frequently be found eating late night raw cookie dough or roasting a marshmallow over the stove top — her sweet tooth was endearing. Her effervescent demeanor coupled with her strong moral compass gave way to the most graceful mothering imaginable. Her new mission takes her to a wonderful place where she will be socializing, gardening and taking care of all of the new people who need her. There, laughter and love are guaranteed.
We will remember her warmth, her understanding, her energy and her unwavering love for her friends and family. In true Dana fashion, her children plan to celebrate her beautiful life in the happiest place on earth — Disneyland! Her life was truly something worth celebrating.
