Obituary for Ardis Hood (Blagg)

Ardis Blagg Hood was born on December 31, 1928 in Sloan, Iowa. At an early age the family to the Portland area. She was one of four children born to Harold and Eunice Blagg. Ardis is survived by her sister, Ellen. Her brother Dutch and sister Betty preceded her in death.

Ardis is survived by her daughter Bonnie Gardner; her sons: Gary Worthington,, Edwin Johnson and stepson Ron Hood. Her husband Harold Hood preceded her in death in 1998. Her family legacy also includes seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren.

The family fondly remembers that Ardis enjoyed hunting and fishing, being an excellent seamstress, an outstanding baker, and loving to work in her garden. She never knew a stranger and it was easy for her to start a conversation with anyone.
